Kayla Schofield RMT, BA
I graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2008 and have been registered with The College of Massage Therapy (CMTO) ever since. I have worked in multi-disciplinary clinics, collaborating with other healthcare professionals in creating individualized treatments plans for clients. I've also worked at a busy massage therapy clinic in North York for several years. I started my own practice from home in 2016, and now I have successfully opened a practice in North York.
In 2010, I enrolled at York University and completed a bachelor's degree in psychology. I truly believe in the mind and body connection. I am currently completing my post-graduate diploma in Psychotherapy and I am seeing clients under supervision for psychotherapy. Those of you that are interested in reduced rates and further details please contact me directly.
Throughout my years of practice I have treated a variety of conditions some of which include: Scoliosis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Sciatica, Piriformis Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, muscle strains, athletic injuries, chronic old injuries, poor posture, tension headaches, cancer patients, spinal cord injuries and post surgery rehabilitation.
I am a firm believer in lifestyle changes that can be created to achieve optimal health. Regular exercise, water consumption, adequate sleep, eating fruits and vegetables and limiting processed foods and, supplements are how I choose to achieve my optimal health. I believe that in following this regimen I am promoting wellness for my physical and mental self.
