What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is comprised of a number of different  treatment styles. The goal with psychotherapy varies depending on what the client presents with but in a general sense it aims to help the client improve behaviours, emotions, and thought processes. Ultimately leading to a more connected, fulfilling life.

The type of topics clients present with also varies, they can include diagnosed mental health disorders, childhood traumas, current day traumas, behavioural issues, understanding their emotions, addicitons, spiritual growth, and wanting a deeper connection with self.

My Approach in Sessions

I believe in providing a warm, safe, compassionate environment for my clients. I meet clients where they are in their journey and provide a judgement free zone. Your life is important and only you can decide which path to take. I would be honouored to support you through the process.

I use techniques such as, inner child work, focusing, chakra balancing or de-cording, body psychotherapy, talk therapy, Internal Family System (IFS), family of origin, guided meditations, two-chair, and mindfulness.

I work with clients to develop ways to manage their feelings and develop healthy coping strategies. I work with a variety of  the population that are dealing with:
